Nelson Hawker Agencies Pty Ltd commenced business in 1973 predominantly as a manufacturer’s agent and incorporating some wholesaling in automotive and hardware.

 

The principal Lindsay Stocks has been involved in the automotive aftermarket for over 40 years and the business was operated from our warehouse premises at Rose Street in Mile End, SA.

 

Over time we have represented companies such as Ritch Engineering, Tridon, Norma Pacific, Australasian Steel Products, WL Ryan, Josco and Galmet to name but a few.

 

As wholesalers we have distributed the product ranges of Command Auto Group, Speco, VHT, Aerpro, Inox, Formuling and OBA Sports Steering Wheels.

 

In 2012, we sold our business and premises, retaining only the marketing of Auscruise by Charge Plus.

 

Nelson Hawker Agencies has been selling and supporting Cruise controls in the SA & NT markets since the 1980’s, distributing notable brands such as Zemco, Cal Custom & Command.  In 2001 we were approached to market and distribute the AusCruise range in SA & NT.  We agreed to take this opportunity to support Auscruise due to its obvious superiority over the products being imported from Taiwan.  We were delighted to have the opportunity to distribute this Australian made, designed and developed product.

 

From 2001 to 2014 AusCruise was shown to be a superior brand in the market and with this in mind Nelson Hawker Agencies was able to develop many new customers in the South Australian & Northern Territory markets.  In 2014 when Charge Plus purchased the brand AusCruise, Nelson Hawker Agencies was pleased to be appointed as the National Distributor of AusCruise.

 

Today NHA has tailored its business to offer our AusCruise customers the best customer service we can.   With Technical Support being supplied on the AusCruise product by the designer (Frank Fogl), NHA are still confident that we are selling the best Cruise Control product available to the aftermarket today.
